easyRTC Enterprise is Announced by Priologic Software at ITEXPO in Miami

Priologic Software Inc. is a company that is based out of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Since 2003 it has been working on projects to develop custom applications, enterprise platforms and mobile applications. On January 24, 2013 Priologic announced that it will be bringing Enterprise Management to Web Real Time Communications (WebRTC). It will make easyRTC Enterprise available sometime in the first quarter of 2013.

Miles Vasey, the managing director at Priologic, said, “We’re really excited about the uptake of our easyRTC open source bundle that we released in December. Since we won the Best WebRTC Tool at the WebRTC Conference and Expo in November we have had hundreds of downloads from 66 countries on every continent. With hundreds of servers running we are seeing very few issues. However, when you do need to scale to thousands of concurrent sessions a different level of rigor and support is required.”

Priologic’s CEO Doug Pelton said, “easyRTC Enterprise integrates with existing corporate databases, security and authentication and web servers. Real-time monitoring of the signaling server and logging service management let application administrators or developers peer into the current state of easyRTC Enterprise to investigate issues with their enterprise WebRTC applications.“

According to Pelton, Priologic is planning on the release of easyRTC Enterprise servers. They will have a cluster manager so that the servers will have an automatic failover if any of the hardware fails. It will provide redundant servers close to their customers who are located on other continents. This will happen in the second quarter of 2013.

Priologic will be at the Miami ITEXPO at booth 441. This year, the Miami ITEXPO runs from January 29 to February 1.
